“Keeping Your Teen Connected”
A Parenting Workshop Featuring Scott & Lynne Green
Is frustration and miscommunication filling up too much of your household? Are you finding it hard to stay close to teens who seem to want to pull away? Without question, you are not alone. As kids become young adults, both they and their parents often feel confused about how to stay close and connected when “growing up” seems to imply “growing away.”
Join us for a frank, interactive discussion of these and other questions. There are 2 locations:
Friday May 6, 7:30 pm
Bellevue Christian Church
10808 SE 28th Street
Bellevue, WA 98004
Saturday May 7, 7:00pm
Seattle Church of Christ
2555 8th Ave West (Queen Anne)
Seattle, WA 98119
Scott and Lynne Green will be sharing their experiences with us and moderating our discussion. Scott and Lynne have served as Christian missionaries in Hong Kong and China, and have worked as ministers in Seattle these past 14 years. They have extensive experience in leading marriage and parenting seminars, and in conducting leadership consults for non-profit organizations. Scott also works as a Marriage and Family Therapist. The Greens have two wonderful post-teens: Stephen, 22, and Ariel, 20.
