The Urban Professional Ministry has just returned from the Summit in San Antonio Texas where 18,000 disciples were worshiping the Lord in the AT&T center. For four whole days we paraded the streets of downtown San Antonio, shaking hands, hugging, and greeting much like disciples would do during an international conference. Countries from all over the world were represented this weekend and had so much good news to share about their churches back home. Our time there was unbelievable. It’s hard to imagine being back in Seattle again after receiving a little piece of heaven. Since we are all returning home around the same time, what a perfect chance to use our monthly devotional time to have some sharing about the moments of glory, learning, and worship that we experienced during the World Discipleship Summit. I know everyone that attended or watched the live broadcast has much to share. So we are going to have an open forum for members to express their joys and gifts they received in San Antonio. Preceding our time of sharing, we will watch a slide show comprised of pictures and videos from the conference that will bring back to life our time with the brothers and sisters from around the world. We have officially descended from the Mountain of the Lord. Let us be penitent, perseverant, purposeful, and have an encouraging time of remembrance Friday the 20th, 7:30 @ The Queen Anne Building (2555 8th ave west Seattle, wa 98119). See you there!
