We are all blessed by the many eager servants who make our church life work. Here is a fun picture from several years ago of some amazing servants decorating our Queen Anne church building for the holidays. Marie McDougal and Cindi Reichlin always make the decorations look great. Mike Fassbind (and his dad, Tony) have done so much to repair and improve all of the building systems. Allison White is the creator or our beautiful courtyard garden. Charles (and Tina, his wife) are the deacons who run the building committee and manage the building and it’s complex schedule of events, no small task. I could go on and on about the ushers, singers, offering counters, Kids’ Kingdom workers, teen leaders, Bible Talk Leaders, Mission Town Leaders, sound board techies, gardeners, counselors, auction volunteers, HOPE for the poor workers, etc. The list is very long.
All of us in the church are blessed everyday by the eager volunteers who do so much behind the scenes and sometimes up front (song leaders, etc.) to make our church work as a dynamic growing spiritual home for the lost to find God and the saved to grow closer to Him and one another. It’s a GREAT blessing for which I am very thankful and I know God is storing up treasure for each of them.
“Above all, love each other deeply… Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms… If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.”
