On December 7 (this past Saturday) a bunch of teens, parents, and teen leaders met together to discuss some of the things we’d like to change about our ministry in 2014. While there are always lots of things that could stand to be a little different, we decided that if we change one thing really well, we could see some great progress.
The one thing that we’re changing in 2014 is something that I have received much advice about from folks all over the country. What we’re going to be doing in 2014 is having a ministry-wide family devotional once a month, called a “Youth and Family Devotional”. This is where our teens and our teen parents will be meeting together to learn, discuss, and grow spiritually. We are very excited about the impact this could have on our families in growing closer to God!
Here is the schedule for our devotionals, along with some topics. We hope to see you there!
