It’s not too late to give! We are collecting money for the poor on Dec. 7th also.
This past Sunday we had an opportunity to speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves as we joined hundreds of congregations around the world for the International Day of Giving. The International Day of Giving supports the work of HOPE worldwide, a nonprofit organization that helps more than 1.5 million people annually in over 70 countries worldwide. This year, our church has a goal of giving $52 per member – or the equivalent of $1 per week. Thank you for all the ways you’ve sacrificed and saved to help us make this goal. Just a bit of administrative information: if you would like to write a check, please make it payable to “HOPE worldwide”. Thank you!”
We have a goal as a congregation of giving $26,000 to HOPE Worldwide by the end of this year. You can help by bringing a donation to any of our three services on the first Sunday of December, the 7th. If you know you have friends and family who care for the poor and would like to pitch in you can easily set up your own donation page if you CLICK HERE.
