This Sunday, January 29th, parents on the West and their friends are invited to attend a special Sunday morning parenting workshop and worship at the 9am service. The lesson for the workshop is on answering the question: What is the main goal of parenting? Teaching your kids to live for the glory of God. As a Church, we believe that family is very important to us and we desire to help our provide resources for parents to raise their children in a godly home.
Our presenters will be two of our deacon couples, the Keysers and the Schoepflins. The Keysers have 3 children who have successfully transitioned into married life, college life and one into teen life as disciples of Jesus. Steve and Kelly currently serve as deacons of shepherding on the Northend of Seattle. While the Schoepflins currently serve as deacons over our Kid’s Kingdom and have 4 children currently being raised in a family that embraces the biblical model of parenting.
There will be a Q and A as well as a communion at the workshop, but you are also welcome to stay for the service and lesson on the gospel of John at the 11am if you like. Refreshments provided.
