With new opportunities to help the Church realize it’s mission to bring the Gospel to the world, the Northwest group of Churches is having a Ministry and Missions weekend hosted by the Seattle Church of Christ, from June 23rd through June 25th.
This weekend will be primarily devoted to helping disciples develop a heart for the ministry and the mission; as well as get better equipped in bringing the Gospel to the lost world. Ministry includes interns and anyone else desiring to one day serve full time or part time in the ministry. It also includes anyone who is thinking about the ministry as a possible future calling. Missions includes anyone interested in being part of a church planting, going on a one year challenge or helping support a mission planting. We will have three “practical ministry” sessions designed to help disciples become more effective in evangelism and better at studying with people they are reaching out to. We’ll also begin talking about the “Berlin Exchange”, another internship program where disciples can travel to Berlin for a semester missions opportunity.
The registration for the weekend workshop is $50.00 per participant and it includes lunch on Friday and Saturday and a Barbecue Saturday evening.
