Happy New Year Everyone!
What a blessing it is to celebrate the New Year with our church family. Join us on January 7th for a special congregational service at the Shoreline Conference Center at 10am. This service will take the place of our normal Sunday services on both the East and West sides.
It’s a wonderful opportunity for all of us from the greater-Seattle area to come together and look towards the New Year as we worship with one another!
Merry Christmas! We are lucky this year to have Christmas Eve fall on a Sunday. What better way to usher in the celebration of our Lord’s birth than to worship Him together as a family. This year there will be a few options for Christmas Eve services:
10am on the Eastside: There will be a Sunday morning service at our Eastside location (Eastside Christian School). This will be more akin to a typical Sunday morning worship service with us.
5:30pm on the Westside: This service will be in tradition with our annual Christmas Eve candlelight service. Join us as we worship together in a very special way with selected readings, songs of praise, and brief sharing all with a focus on the Nativity Story. This service will be held at our Queen Anne location.
We are excited for you to join us Sunday afternoon October 22nd from 2pm-4pm for our annual Women’s Day! We have planned a dynamic event that will celebrate our womanhood and help us explore how we can walk in godly confidence. Light refreshments will be served.
Our main speaker is Carmen Lugo, Women’s Ministry Leader of the City Region of the Seattle Church of Christ.
We look forward to spending the afternoon with you!
Scott & Lynne Green serve as missionaries for the Seattle Church of Christ and currently lead the Berlin Church of Christ. They will be leading an all-day workshop of August 5 on Team Leadership Dynamics. The topics/classes include: “Imperishable Values of Team Leadership,” and “Dynamic Roles in Team Dynamics.” There will be discussoin and practical role playing. The workshop will be free of charge, but we’re asking people to register so we can plan. The program will include two sessions with one beginning at 10am and the other at 1 and we look forward to seeing you there!
